Glowing in the sun

I remembered some of you wanted to see the bloom of this bud, here it is fully open - Rhododendron 'President Roosevelt'. It's a large bloom at 17cm in height and looks quite busy with its vibrance against the variegated foliage.

Bright blue sky, plenty of sun, gentle breeze which is now quite gusty and a warm 22C - rain is forecasted but hasn't arrived dare say it will in time, a lazy Sunday here :)
