A Great Privilege.

This morning, I had the great privilege of playing this beautiful church organ after the service. This is the organ in St Nicholas Church in Sulham, it was built sometime between 1870 and 1880 by one of the greatest nineteenth century organ builders, William Hill. It was built specifically for this church and is quite unusual as the keyboard is at right angles to the organ, which it makes it quite difficult to see what is happening in the main church. However, it has such a beautiful, rich sound with such depth. It was wonderful to play and I hope to play again at some point.
