leaf or petal?

It looks like a leaf but is actually a petal. It obviously couldn't make up its mind as it was developing but it haas resulted in quite a nice effect.
My apologies if I don't get around to commenting this week but I'm having some work done in the house and may not get time or computer access. I'm still aiming to post each day.
