Down In A Hole

evening all,

Had a lovely wander around an abandoned and neglected graveyard in Sheffield his morning,  it has a simple sad feel to it as does anything that is no longer functional, although it feels quite fitting that a graveyard itself has fallen out of use and out of memory.

There is about five acres or so but it is so overgrown it is hard to not stand on graves which is a bit of a no no for me.

 There is also evidence of a couple of double filled graves which I think there was a bit of a scandal about in the 1800s , in fact I found one at very close quarters as I nearly fell right into one of them..

down here before my time I think.
