Sally's 14 today

It's my daughters Sally's birthday today and this is a blip of some of her gifts from LUSH, this is when 'Smell Blip' may be the next big thing...

My YouTube track for today Don't look back in angerwith the lyrics written 16 years ago...

And so, Sally can wait
She knows it's too late as we're walking on by
Her soul slides away
But don't look back in anger
I heard you say

This song is about pre-Beatles culture... the title "Don't Look Back in Anger" refers to the seminal 1956 British play Look Back in Anger which helped define youth culture by introducing a disillusioned hero, Jimmy Porter, who craved excitement and passion in a dull world of old Victorian framework. The riffs and melodies here are almost entirely from Beatles songs and the artists seek to synthesize the different instruments and patterns as would be evident in a Beatles song. also as people mentioned, different lines such as "revolution from my bed" etc are direct reference.
