Ladybird

When I went to empty rubbish into the wheelie bin this morning I noticed that something (deer?) had pulled out one of the pansy plants in one of the tubs by the front door. As I was replanting it I noticed today’s picture on the small fir tree. It is the first one I have seen this year or for a very long time.
 
This morning it is dull and raining, but I have indoor jobs to do, so not really a problem.
