Future Twitchers?

Grandsons ( 9 and 6) staying with us at the moment.

Both interested in birds so keen for a couple of hours at nearby RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss. Good conditions. Still air and rising temperature.

Plenty to see. All the usual birds such as Teal, Cormorant, Swans, Geese and Robins which will take seed from your hand.
But also Little Egrets, Herons and Great White Egret.

The Nuthatch above is always a favourite. The extra shows a Chaffinch.

Maybe we are sowing the seeds of life long enthusiasm. Hope so.
