Am I just being catty!!

I watched part of the BAFTAs last night. Just how many times do these film stars have to be told how wonderful they are!!
I cant help feeling that given the right script, sympathetic lighting, great make up, lots of special effects, talented support staff etc and about 20 or 30 takes for every two minute scene, I could have been a contender.
P.S. the bunnies were well pleased with all your kind comments. I took Dylan to the vet today and he got some different eye drops so I hope they help
