Team Squirrel

Ready for his downhill Run, this competitor in the Western AOG soaks up a bit of sun before he begins his race.  This course usually involves running down, a sharp turn to head back up the course then circling the tree at least 6 times before leaping to a nearby branch to complete the circuit.  All competitors are very well versed in this discipline, so I expect a close race. In order not to upset this athlete, this photographer had to take the shot from inside the headquarters, so quality isn't optimal.  Such is life.
