ULSTER MUSEUM

Backblip
We slept till 8.15 this morning. All that fresh air yesterday no doubt. Although Ben must have woken early as we looked over and he wasn't in the bed! The bed was made with the cuddly toys on top and he was dressed and sitting on the chair at the window playing the ds- we though he had disappeared!!

Breakfast then packing up and the half hour walk through Belfast city centre and up the the Ulster Museum . Boys enjoyed the science exhibition which had interactive kids stuff and I enjoyed the natural history area. There was an Egyptian Mummy which Ben was amazed with.

There was a Game of Thrones Tapestry in a room on its own showing scenes from the show. Had a good few hours here then off to the little Cafe nearby for some amazing cake and good coffee. We had a look at some of the cool murals dotted around and a wander before getting our cases from the hotel and hopped on the bus to the airport.

No delays, short 25 minute flight to Edinburgh arriving in a near empty airport and home by 8. Lovely moment at the baggage reclaim when we were walking away Ben ran back and pulled a case that was disappearing to go round again off the carousel. It belonged to a lady who was on her own with a baby and a three year old with a cuddle toy strapped to the outside of the case . We had spoken to them in the queue at the gate in Belfast . Why did you do that I asked? Cos it was going round again and I didn't want her to wait. Kind boy.

Another fabulous holiday with my favourite boys. Love going away with them we have such a laugh and make some great memories. Everyone in Belfast was so friendly and helpful. They remind me of the Scots.
