The Judge

Well, one of them.  I thought it might be nice to focus on some of the officials for a change.  The athletes always get the most attention but we forget that there are dedicated hard-working judges and referees in the Alternative Olympic Games who rarely get the acknowledgment they deserve.

Today Team Crow was on deck for the Giant Tree Slalom.  This was one of the judges scoring the athletes as they raced through the trees, large and small, deciduous and evergreen.

There are many judges in such events, each one perched in a tree calling out "safe", "foul", "point", "penalty", etc. as the competitors run the course.  Since I'm lousy at photo collages, you're only seeing this one judge.  If you want to see where he was sitting look closely at the very top of the tree in Extras.

Team Crow managed to cooperate with each other long enough to earn one gold medal and two silver medals before losing interest and taking off in a giant murder, presumably to raid Team Squirrel's peanut stash.
