Kentmere

I don't often blip in mono or blip people so I thought I'd post something to address this! Today's U3A walk was from Kentmere up the Garburn track and down the other side to Dubb Road where we picked up the path to Sour Howes. From there we continued round to Sallows. The summit of Sallows is a bit strange and resembles a burial mound. The blip is the group on the top of Sallows admiring the view, chatting or wondering why the sun rays were in the distance. I thought it looked better in mono as all the different coloured waterproof jackets were distracting. After Sallows we dropped down to the River Kent near the paper factory and walked back up the valley to the village - see extras. The early start to ensure we could all park in Kentmere meant we had completed the ten mile walk by 2pm.

Off out to the Brewery Arts Centre tonight to see a folk group.
