Lost his glow

Green Gym clearing an allotment again (paid work to go towards the cost of our insurance).  This scarecrow is probably not needed at this time of year but bet it worked when first installed.
Pleasant surprise when asked to pick up granddaughter who has popped home for the week-end from Paris.  Dropped her bags off and then went out for a light lunch and retail therapy in the charity shops.  I bought an Ossie Clark dress.  Price was reduced because the zip needs a bit of attention.  Bargain I couldn't resist.  Joining her and the family for a Turkish meal tonight.  Just what I needed!!
