Low tide

Walked out from Overy to have a look at the Iron Age fort at Holkham (extra). It’s not very obvious but I often used to cycle by it when I was little on my way down to the beach. It captured my imagination then and it’s rather nice to see it’s still so unknown. Had the beach to myself as I walked back with that cutting east wind from Siberia thankfully at my back.
A red kite followed me down, 2 marsh harriers were quartering the wetlands and as I headed my way back a barn owl was hunting in the late sun.
