The Crow Road

Don't usually come across a flock of crows on my walks, but these seemed unwilling to move off the path.  I just looked up the reference and it's a novel by Iain Banks (sounds worth reading if a little grim) and and the title is a Glaswegian expression for death.

Crows remind me of a more recently read novel 'Grief is a Thing with Feathers' by Max Porter that we read at book group.

Crows don't get a good press.
