Weather Front

I never get tired of the views of the sky from here!  Judging from the looks out there this morning, it would appear that we're in for another change in weather today.  The day before yesterday, it was 71 F.  Yesterday we had snow!

In other news, we heard a tremendous bang outside yesterday evening at around 5:30.  Shortly afterwards, a lot of very angry shouting, and the wail of police sirens drew us to peer out the window.  We were shocked to see a car on the sidewalk, wedged into the side of a building.  It had knocked down an illuminated sign, and then we realized that it had also hit a pedestrian who was now lying there, surrounded by concerned passers-by.  According to this morning's Boston Globe, a pair of young men were attempting to steal from a Chinatown liquor store when they were chased from the shop by the manager.  They then stole an unattended Uber car which they only managed to drive 100 feet before crashing and hitting a female pedestrian.  One of the men is still on the loose; the other was grabbed and held by bystanders until the police arrived.  Fortunately it sounds like the lady who was injured will recover.
