Will Returns Home

We finally arrived in London after struggling through the rush hour traffic. We are staying at the Tower Hotel, and have a fantastic view of Tower Bridge, as well as the Shard. The top of the Shard is lost in the clouds. It is also a little too hazy for photos of Tower Bridge.

After checking in we wandered outside and saw this boat, which I believe is a Thames Barge, just about to enter St Katherine's Dock.

We then walked over in the direction of Liverpool Street for a glass, all the pubs were very busy, but we were lucky enough to get a table. We later went to a restaurant for dinner, before returning to the hotel by taxi. It was still raining quite heavily.
