What do you see? Is it raining men?

"Everything we see hides another thing, we always want to see what is hidden by what we see".

This painting, an oil on canvas, was created by Rene Magritte (1898-1967) in 1953 and is titled Golconda. Magritte was a Belgian Surrealist artist and his work fascinates me. He questions our perception of reality. Is it really raining men? Or are they just pictures of men?

What is this blip about? I am not the owner of a Magritte painting but posess an empty tin that once contained my favourite Jules Destrooper biscuits. So what you see is in fact a picture decorating a biscuit tin.

Perceptions? Hope everyone has a good weekend.
