Awards Evening

Bro1 delivered a presentation covering all the aspects of his QSA endeavours tonight to the Explorer Scout Unit, parents & invited guests to complete all the requirements for the Queen’s Scout Award.
The District Commissioner was there to see the presentation and will submit the paperwork to Scouts Scotland HQ to have the QSA approved.
Bro1 was then presented with his Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award badge by Stephen Gethins MP and will receive his certificate at Holyrood Palace later in the year.

The little 6 year old boy who saw some Cub Scouts doing bushcraft activities at the forestry area of the Dundee Food & Flower Festival and asked if he could join in all those years ago has been thoroughly committed to Scouting ever since and tonight saw him reach the highest award level possible. He is quite rightly very proud of his achievements.
