Missed the train.

We intended to take the train to the infamous Hell Fire Pass.  Unfortunately it only runs three times a day and on the day we chose it wasn't running at all.   We did drive there though.   The museum was very interesting and it is possible to walk part of the track.   You certainly get the idea of how dreadful the conditions were.   We also took a boat trip to the war cemetery.  We met a Dutchman there who was visiting the grave of his uncle who had died during the last few days of the war.  So very sad.
