Day 1...

... of eight days over the next three weekends when I'll get to do my most favorite kind of photography: performing arts :)

It's the annual festival of the Atlas Theater in Washington DC: over 100 performances during that timespan, ranging from dance to music to theater as well as some programs just for kids. And, as one of the theater's two photographers, I get a front seat to all of them.

Tonite there were four performances; tomorrow almost 20. It's a bit of work to be sure, esp turning around some quick picks at the end of each day for use in the theater's social media. But, hey, if you're gonna work, might as well be on something you enjoy, right? :)
