Odd Jobs

Lovely bright and sunny day, from inside the house you could almost think it was Spring!
Once outside it tells a different story as it is bitterly cold and the forecast is predicting a very Wintery week.
Nevertheless there is nothing like a bit of sunshine to put a spring in my step.
I stripped all the beds after having family to stay and what a joy it was to see all the bedding billowing on the line, strewn across the garden.
Got the dreaded ironing done.
Cut up some Orla Keily fabric to whip up new cushion covers when we stay over at my granddaughters tonight.
Filled some containers with bulbs that are or are about to come into flower.
Placed them so they can be seen from the kitchen window.
Potted up some geranium seedlings.
Started off some sweet peas in empty loo and kitchen rolls.
Following Monty Don’s advice to try and be as green as l can when gardening and this does away with using plastic pots and trays.
Just been out for a coffee with Mr P before the rugby on TV.
I asked him to drop me off at the far end of the village so l could get a blip.
Hadn’t taken a hundred steps along this path in the village green before l saw the snowdrops and this symmetrical house meeting my need.
