Out in the Garden

I met Ann out from the Blue Cross as usual and we went to Susie's for a coffee. The weather was sunny but cold, forecast to get even colder, I'll have to put yet another layer on when I go out, I already look like I'm on an Antarctic expedition.

On return I took a little walk round the garden to see if there's any signs of life in the plants, not much, the hellebores and snowdrops are still hanging on and we have a nice display of primroses. The daffodils have been shooting for a while, and we have one in flower in the front garden, this bunch of dwarf daffs look like they are ready to bloom.

I watched the 6 Nations Scotland England rugby match this afternoon, a good game, but only if you're Scottish!
