Shaldon

We travelled down to the chalet at Shaldon today.

The weather, although dry, was foggy in places, making driving on the M5 a little tricky.  We passed one accident with two or three smashed cars, closing the inside lane. Once passed Bristol the weather improved and the rest of the journey was uneventful.

We stopped off at The Ness car park for a walk though the village before going on to the chalet.  There I took one or two photos.

This photo is similar to one I published about a month ago, the last time we were here.  The difference is that this is on Shaldon beach showing the new beach huts and the Clipper Cafe, whilst the other was on Teignmouth beach showing the traditional huts that have now been dismantled for the winter.

These five new beach huts are selling for more than the average UK house price, unless you live in London, see this advert in a local estate agent's window.
