Thursley Common

With a cold bright day in the offing, I headed out for coffee and thoughts of a finding somewhere for some fresh air and photo opportunities.  By a rather round-about way I found myself at Thursley Common, a nationally recognised Nature Reserve and one of the largest, (326 hectares), and most important areas of heath in Surrey.

If truth be told, it was really too bright and contrasty for good landscape photos, and I felt too lazy to dig out the filters. Never the less, I thoroughly enjoyed my walk, and came home nicely refreshed.

I've played about with LR and Nik Silver Effex Pro to get what I feel is a reasonable approximation of my view in B&W - I still need the practice!
