Sock It To Me!

Mrs CBL has many talents one of which is knitting. These are her socks of many colours. They will be donated to charitable causes such as Maggie’s Centre and refuge centres for the homeless.

She organises a local craft group that meets in the village church hall fortnightly. The ladies knit baby jackets, socks and hats which are given to the maternity units at local hospitals. Adult sized hats are also knitted and those are gifted to the Fishermen’s Mission.

Blankets are crocheted (another of Mrs CBL’s talents) and these go to local care homes for the elderly.
