Stunner

Bacon rolls at home (although, shock horror, the baker's wasn't open - prompting me to remember the 'Excerpt from a teenage opera' song about the kids wondering where Grocer Jack was!) before heading for a quick walk along the edge of Arthur's Seat. Amazing blue skies again, although still very chilly - seems perfect weather for the first of the snowdrops (extra).
Dropped K at the station for her train (full of returning disappointed rugby supporters unfortunately). After a bit of work I then headed to Portobello...couldn't stay indoors on such a beautiful day. Long walk along the beach and back, then a pot of tea and date slice, all the time listening to a Peter May book ('I'll keep you safe'). Enjoying it.
Home for a cosy evening in ready for what might be a tricky week, what with strikes etc
