It will Clear Soon....

..... well it didn't, the fog got thicker and thicker and the snow deeper and deeper as we skinned up to Anzeindaz (see extra - behind me is the roof apex of the Giacomini Hut!). The ski down was not good, very icy and old avalanche debris to negotiate. However we had a great hot chai in the café at the bottom, euphoric from having "survived"! Now the temperatures are plummeting for this week so outings are being cancelled or changed. The poor alpine animals, I hope they snuggle up.
