Ducking stool

Apparently in medieval times I’d have been burnt at the stake. Not 15 minutes before this I’d said I’d cosmic order up a bench for our lunch. Not only did we get a bench , we got a bin and a view. Although we had to gobble and go as it was bitterly cold. This was on the Manuden to Barwick ( pronounced Barrick according to the local we met) overlooking Braughing - which I think is pronounced Brocking?
