Is it a plne, is it a bird ..

No it's Superman; or rather a kite in the shape of Superman's legs.

Yesterday was very cold, but also very sunny so I decided I needed to find somewhere interesting to walk rather than the short distances from my home as I have been doing for the past two weeks.  We drove to the coast to Ayr, which is only 45 minutes from home.  The promenade was very busy, mainly with people walking their dogs, but there were also lots of families on the beach.  This was just one of the novelty kites that were flying in the (strong) breeze.
