It was our club's orienteering event held in Bishop Wood. I was helping on the start and so by the time it was quiet enough to get my camera out the event was all but over with a few helpers still out in the woods having their runs. I am still injured so not chancing another fall. These woods fill me with nostalgia as it was where we frequently orienteered when my children were very young. It is intersected by very deep and wide ditches which have to be avoided and the ground is very overgrown over much of it with ankle grabbing brambles, hence my decision.
