Matilda, Cambridge Theatre, Seven Dials, London

Raced down to London to meet up with my friends and catch Matilda. Had a lovely meal in Belgo nearby then went to the show.

I think I spent most of the second half in tears (I'm not ashamed to admit). A mixture of happiness and pride (Why should I be proud of a musical?) Was sat on the front row. A little hair raising in more than one way. The musical was superb. Really deserves the plaudits it gets. I'm not a good reviewer, so I'm going to leave it there.
