Peachy pink

My weekend flowers were beautiful peachy pink roses, but as I was arranging them one snapped off its stem.  Reluctant to throw such a beautiful thing out, I put it in a saucer of water, and it has opened out from its budlike state to a beautiful full rose.  It makes a nice blip, I think, sitting on a mirror to get a bit of a reflection.

We woke to heavy mist this morning, but as the morning progressed it has cleared and it is a lovely sunny day.  We have been dancing, and in a couple of hours are going to stay overnight with the children, as G going down to Sheffield.  So must go and get organised!!!!
