Dexter Enjoying the View

We've had some chilly nights lately, and so we decided on Saturday that it was finally time to remove the window air conditioner from the bedroom window.

This task involved moving some things around, removing the air conditioner and cleaning it and taking it downstairs, reorganizing some of my stuffed animal collection, cleaning the window, and even (gasp!) doing a little dusting.

As you might imagine, our tabby cat Dexter, my constant companion, was an awfully big help in all of these activities. ;-)

I was delighted - as was Dexter - to have one of our favorite windows back. It provides a lovely view of some pretty amazing yellow and orange foliage. When the afternoon sun hits it, the whole yard is bathed in glorious golden light.
