Melting snow.

Thankfully the thaw continues, although there is the possibility of some more snow tonight. However, the temperature has risen substantially since last night's low of -11 C and the hot water came back on an hour ago. . It is still looking damp for the foreseeable future but hopefully interspersed with sunny spells and a temperature predicted to be around 12C . Quite a range in such a short space of time . A lot of the plants down the street are looking burnt and the grass has fallen flat after being 30cm high. A lot of the blossom has been frosted, particularly the almond blossom I hope this doesn't prevent the nuts forming.
