Snowy Stonechat

Today we woke to the thick blanket of snow that we have been praying for. It was lovely in the park. I do find it tricky photographing in the snow, so it was good practice.
This little Stonechat landed only a few feet away from me, and only for a few seconds so I was fortunate to get the shot. The ponds were completely under a layer of snow - see my extra for a pair of coots on the pond.
I have really made an effort to be more diligent about commenting, but this week has been rather manic so please forgive me for the past two days "silence".
