Beast from the east

I cleared a few inches of snow from the drive this morning and thought getting to work would be no bother. I was wrong! Traffic chaos, but arrived fine with the car behaving beautifully. My pal sent a text late morning to say I should really get home if I could... good call. By 5pm there was about a foot of snow where it wasn’t drifting and much more in places. This was from my walk which was absolutely freezing! The extra has the very orangey light to the north. It was a harbinger of more snow. Red alert remains until 10am tomorrow.
