A Love Affair: Part Four

The time had come to be assertive. A plan was laid to approach under the cover of darkness, so I'd be upon her before she noticed my presence. I should have known better. She hid herself away, tried drizzle, and then rain, before I think I gained her respect with my persistence. She then started to flirt with me quite outrageously, taking my hand in a dance of mist and blue sky, before trying to kid me that she could conjure up an ice storm, showering me with shards of ice. She tried to blow me off with a strong, cold wind, but we both knew by then that we would finally consummate our relationship. Eventually, she yielded and gave herself to me. It was worth every step of the effort involved.
