The Martians are coming!

Having watched The War of the Worlds film on Sunday I knew what today's entry would be. In Woking town centre there is a sculpture of one of the Martian walking machines.
For those who thought the Martians initially landed in America, blame Orson Welles, Gene Barry and Tom Cruise, the original landing site in the book was on Horsell Common, a couple of miles from Woking.
