Autumn

The first day of Autumn today - but you'd think it was still summer.  Still very warm and dry.

However, on cue here we have a nice display of rose-hips.

I was delivering still more plants up to OGH this afternoon, and so stupidly didn't take the big camera.  So many butterflies - common blues, 2-spotted line blue, and a blue I didn't recognise.  Not to mention common browns, xenicas and Monarchs. 

Maybe tomorrow, although it's going to be a bit warm for patiently waiting for a butterfly to settle down.
