Green on Green

I was having morning tea on the deck and this bellbird was preening in the tree.  It is such a pleasure to have a native bird come and visit.  It is slightly smaller than a blackbird.  This is cropped a lot.  
The forester has been very busy in the garden clearing out unwanted plants.  He wants to grow fruit trees and have a second asparagus bed.  I have enough flower bed area so we will both be happy.
