Cavacade participants on the move

I am down at The Catlins at the annual Otago Cavacade. What fun, in spite of the rain we have had a wonderful day amongst the horses and riders. There are over 500 entered in it and they are coming in from all angles. Some in light wagons and some of these are over a hundred years old. We haven’t seen the big covered wagons yet and there are other groups of riders and walkers. Huge Marquees set up for the hoedown on Saturday night after the grand parade which all 500 are taking part in.
