It's never stopped snowing

It was snowing when we got up this morning and hasn't stopped since.

I took a turn around the block this morning and saw a Redwing, a Jay, lots of blackbirds, two Lapwings and a wood mouse.

Friends walked round for afternoon tea (with cake that JJ made this morning) and then had to walk home through the ever thickening snow.

The birds haven't been as plentiful as yesterday, but late this afternoon a Pied Wagtail has been in for food, which I have had to replenish as most of it has become buried.

This is one of three or four robins that are diving in and out for grub, although they have so far shunned the mealworms.
