S'no fun

Eventually ventured out around 4pm as there was a break in the interminable blizzard conditions and even some blue sky to be seen. I'm sure that won't last. Meanwhile on the golf course some teenagers were making the most of not being at school by running around in conditions that were considered too extreme for them to be out in (extra).

All this continues without the presence of Mrs Rex who is still stranded in Holland and surely must be running out of clean knickers as well as patience by this time. The latest plan hatched by her travel companions is to board a ferry and sail to Newcastle some time later this evening – weather permitting of course.

As someone who gets seasick just having a bath I'm not sure how she's going to survive a night on the high seas...
