AbstractThursday140 More snow...

It was snowing when we woke this morning but it was small powdery stuff which didn't settle too much.  The wind felt arctic though and the skies remained dull and leaden all day.
There was no chance then of getting an abstract from the sort of views we had yesterday, so instead I brought the snow inside!  I put spoonfuls of fresh snow on a mirror plate which was placed on the dining room window sill.  As some of it melted, the trees outside were reflected in the droplets.  The remaining snow, with a light shining on, really did look golden and the whole thing rather like jewellery.  I couldn't resist fiddling about a bit with the image though.  It wouldn't  be abstract Thursday if I didn't!
