Beast Meets West

After a morning of frequent snow showers and bitingly cold wind (we took the precaution of foregoing the morning golf round!) storm Emma kept her appointment with the Beast around 2 this afternoon and it's been snowing heavily ever since.

We couldn't resist a snowy walk around 3ish; this is the road next to the park at the bottom of our road. The snow is much thicker now as you can imagine.

Sophie, of course, has not seen snow before and apparently had great fun building miniature snowmen and attempting her first snow angel (see the extra, which Kate took and emailed to me) when Kate collected her from nursery.
