Closer's better.

The 'oldest inn'. Apart from the one up the road.

This is the pub called 'The Trip to Jerusalem' in Nottingham, and it IS incredibly old, full of twisting passageways and tiny seating areas, fireplaces and bulging walls.
We spent a splendid evening here, largely because of the company, given that the food and service were indifferent.
The next day I was in Nottingham again, and came across 'The Bell', which had a huge sign claiming to be - you guessed - 'Nottingham's oldest inn'.
So work that one out.
