Through a lens darkly

Don't be a drip

I've been wanting to try this for a while now. It's not quite perfect - the cloudy milk has left a misty swirl that I didn't realise was there when I took the shot. However, in spite of that, I like the capture.

The setup: an upside down chair resting on the dining table, with a ruler taped between the legs from which a medicine dropper of milk is suspended. A baking tray of water with a green craft board in the bottom was used to aim the drips at. I didn't use any lighting other than the inbuilt flash (on a 2 second timer), so that's definitely an area to improve on.

Do let me know if you have any tips!

Oh my gosh it looks cool large!
