What a difference a day makes!

After a successful landing at Heathrow in snow after the heat and humidity of Kerela, we spent a comfortable night at the Premier Inn. We checked the National Express website which said our coach was running so we took ourselves off to the Coach Station. Apparently they started the journey from Victoria but felt the road conditions were not good so they turned back.  We knew we could not go back to the hotel which was now full of stranded flyers so had to phone around for an affordable bed for the night. Eventually found two rooms in West Drayton - phew! What a relief. A taxi ride got us their safely and we are now enjoying some r&r as snow falls gently outside.  I did go for a short walk, treading carefully, to see what was available locally.  We will get a takeaway rather than go out - so a bottle of wine was collected for that! Cheers.
Blip shows the white out in the courtyard of the Kings Paget Hotel where we are staying.
