Blue Rose

The rose is past its best and should have been thrown out ages ago but was retained for just such an emergency as this.

I have placed it in a blue crystal-glazed ceramic that I bought at 'Potfest' several years ago. It was created by award-winning Dutch ceramicist Willy Van Bussel. He is no longer making crystal-glaze products and instead is decorating his pots in a geometrical retro style reminiscent of art-deco.
